Hawai'i Housing Crisis: from an activist's perspective

For this assignment I chose to interview Gavin Thorton. Gavin is the executive director of Hawaii Appleseed Center for Law and Economic Justice. This nonprofit organization works to help people in our community who struggle to make ends meets, which includes wage issues, housing issues, etc.

Gavin Thorton has seen the housing crisis first hand, and after struggling with it himself, he was able to provide a very interesting and detailed opinion, as well as many facts, on the housing crisis here in Hawai'i. (3:57)
